Atul Rao bail rejected
Udupi, Karnataka, July 21 (UNI) The bail application of Atul Rao, the main accused in the 'Padmapriya (wife of Udupi BJP MLA K Raghupathy Bhat) Suicide Case' was rejected by a local court today.
The bail application moved by Advocate Purushotham Poojary on behalf of the accused came up for hearing on July nine before District Session Judge A M Phaneendra. He posted the case for further hearing to July 14.
He reserved the orders for today after completion of arguments from both the sides.
Mr Poojary's assistant and Lawyer Naushad Kashimji, who appeared on behalf of the accused, said he would decide the next step only after studying the judgment copy. The judicial custody of Atul Rao would expire on July 23.
