4 suspects picked up in Banihal blast case

Jammu, Jul 21 (UNI) Four people have been arrested by the police in connection with Friday's Banihal grenade attack on a CRPF vehicle, official sources here said today.

Thirty four people were injured, including four security personnel, when militants lobbed a grenade on a CRPF Company in Banihal town of Ramban district of the state.

''The suspects have been put under sustained questioning in connection with the grenade attack,'' sources told UNI.

However, security has been beefed up in the entire area, including mountainous Ramban, Batote, Ramsoo, Banihal, Chanderkote and Patnitop areas, while alert has been sounded.
