3 Haryana students get Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship

Chandigarh, Jul 21 (UNI) The University Grants Commission has awarded the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship to three students of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.

Giving this information today, a University spokesman said these students Sunder Singh, Ms Asha and Ms Anita Rani were pursuing Ph D in Botany.

Under the fellowship, these research scholars would be provided an amount of Rs 8000 per month for research and education purpose. Besides this, for casual expenses they would be provided Rs 12000 each for first two years and Rs 25000 for third year, he added.
