Two Mumbai students drown, 5 others rescued
Panaji, Jul 20 (UNI) Two medical students of a Mumbai-based college drowned while five others were rescued, when they went for a swim in the choppy waters at Calangute beach here.
Police said, the students of D Y Patil Medical College in Navi Mumbai were here on a picnic when the mishap occurred, yesterday.
Bodies of the victims, both 21-years-old, identified as Bharat Barad of Ahmedabad and Prerit Sarang of Jaipur, were yet to be recovered till the reports last came in.
