One drowns in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 20 (UNI) A 33-year-old man drowned in the Jehlum river near here, official sources said today.

Sources said Ali Mohammadd Sheikh, an employee of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) drowned in the river near Basant Bagh here.

The body was later fished out and handed over to the relatives, they said.
