Haj committee invites applications for Hujjaj selection

Hyderabad, Jul 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee today said it was inviting applications from male candidates, who have performed one Haj earlier, for the selection of Khadimul Hujjaj (Haj volunteers) for the Haj session 2008.

According to a press relese here, the applicants must be in the age group of 25 to 50 years. Preference would be given to government servants and persons having well conversant with Arabic knowledge.

The last date for the submission of application was August six.

As per the directions of Ministry of External Affairs, 15 per cent of Haj Volunteers would be selected from amongst the employees of AP Haj Committee and state Wakf Board.
