Four feared drowned in Nalanda
Biharsharif, Jul 20 (UNI) At least four people were feared drowned in the Sakari river near Ranisarai Bahadurganj village under Giriak police station of Nalanda district today.
Police said the incident took place when a boat carrying 11 people capsized mid-stream due to strong current.
Four people were feared drowned, while the rest swam ashore, police said adding divers had been pressed into service to rescue the missing people.
Senior officers of the district administration had reached the spot to monitor the rescue operation.
