FCS minister calls for cooperation in Manipur

Imphal, Jul 20: Manipur Food and Civil Supplies (FCS) Minister Y Erabot has called for cooperation in the public distribution activity taken up by the FCS department in the state.

He informed that if any person, irrespective of grade or status, violated the procedure as well as terms and conditions on the issue and receipt of rice, SK oils, etc, appropriate legal action would be taken without entertaining any requests.

The staff deployed at the Sangaiprou Godowns, FCS and Imphal were facing inconveniences in discharging their official works between 1030 hours and 1500 hours, specially in issue of rice, due to the power of muscles and arms by some VIPs, he said.
