8-member committee to review various facilities to protected people
Srinagar, Jul 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted an 8-member Committee to review various facilities being provided to Protected People in the State.
An official spokesman said here today that the committee headed by the Chief Secretary would comprise Principal Secretary (Home), Director General of Police, Administrative Secretaries of Estates, General Administration and Finance Departments, Inspector General of Police, CID and Inspector General of Police, Security.
He said the committee shall consider cases for allotment of residential accommodation and vehicles including security and other facilities in favour of the protected people.
Besides all senior leaders of different political parties, former legislatures, ministers, bureaucrats and some journalists have been declared protected people because of threat perception.
