3.26 lakh pilgrims visit Shiv Khori in Reasi
Jammu, Jul 20 (UNI) Heavy rush of pilgrims from within and across the country is being witnessed at the historic and ancient cave of Shiv Khori Shrine situated in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said today.
''Over 3.26 lakh pilgrims had paid obeisance at the Shiv Khori Shrine so far since January 1, 2008,'' official sources said and added that presently 1200 to 1500 pilgrims were visiting daily at the Shrine.
However, during the month of June, this year, over 93,031 pilgrims had visited the cave, which was the highest ever number of pilgrims during a month since the establishment of Shiv Khori Shrine Board.
The historic holy Shiv Khori Shrine cave is situated in the Sanger hills in Pouni area of Reasi district.
