18 injured in road accident in Karur

Karur, Jul 20: Eighteen people were injured when a State Transport Corporation bus hit a private Omni bus, parked on the road side, at Pudukkanelli village on the Karur-Coimbatore National Highway.

olice said the private bus was proceeding to Karaikal from Coimbatore when the STC bus, which was on its way to Karur from Tiruppur, rammed into the rear side of the private bus.

All the injurd were admitted to the Government Hospital here.
