Uma Bharti rules out returning to BJP
Bangalore, July 19 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti today reiterated that she has no plans to go back to BJP.
Ms Bharti told reporters here after her meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa that she had no intention of returning to BJP ''now or in future''.
She alleged that both BJP and Congress were ''mixing politics with religion'' in tackling issues like Amarnath temple land and Ram Sethu project.
''On my part, I am still committed to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya,'' she said.
Ms Bharti said her Bharatiya Janashakti Party would not contest the coming general elections as it was still to grow.
She said her present task was to strengthen her party of which she is the national president, to contest the next assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.
