Silver, gold down: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, Jul 19: Both the precious metals further declined with silver easing by Rs 235 per kg to finish at Rs 25,425, while gold by Rs 40 per ten gm to close at Rs 13,235, on sluggish demand by ornament makers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 25,425 (25,660) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 13,235 (13,275) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 13,295 (13,340).
