PMC takes out procession on price rise issue

Puducherry, July 19 (UNI) The Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) today took out a procession, condemning the government's ''failure'' in curbing the price rise.

The procession, led by PMC President and former Minister P Kannan, commenced from the Venkatasubbareddiyar statue and culminated in front of the Head Post Office, where Mr Kannan addressed a gathering.

The procession was also to condemn the government's ''failure'' in maintaining law and order in the Union Territory.
