Patangrao Kadam takes charge as MPCC chief

Mumbai, Jul 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Patangrao Kadam has been made in-charge of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC).

Outgoing MPCC chief Prabha Rau yesterday gave the charge to Dr Kadam and left for Shimla, to take charge as Governor of Himachal Pradesh, according to the Party sources.

Interestingly, the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) and MPCC both have acting presidents. MRCC is headed by R R Singh after Gurudas Kamat resigned from the post.
