Pakistan, India to launch fifth round of peace talks: Ministry
Islamabad, Jul 19 (UNI) Pakistan and India will launch the fifth round of Composite Dialogue on Monday in New Delhi with foreign secretary-level talks on the segments of peace and security, including Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) and Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Foreign Ministry today said.
Pakistan delegation will be headed its Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir during the talks aimed at looking into the prospects of a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
''The talks will also focus on the issues of peace and security and possible new CBMs,'' the Ministry said in a statement.
Implementation of various conventional, nuclear and cross-LoC CBMs will also come under review by the two sides.
''The visit will also provide an opportunity for the two Foreign Secretaries to discuss other areas of bilateral cooperation,'' the statement added.
