Over 100 cases settled in Lok Adalats

Chandigarh, Jul 19 (UNI) As many as 174 cases were settled in the six Lok Adalats held in the state.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority said that Lok Adalats were held at Charkhi Dadri, Dabwali, Pehowa and Siwani.

Rural Lok Adalats were held at village Nigdhu of Karnal and village Chakku Ladana of Gulha-Kaithal. In these Lok Adalats 255 cases were taken up out of which 174 were settled pertaining to Civil, Criminal, Summary, Mutation and Motor Vehicle Act.
