Minister Kiranmoy Nanda faces angry TMC supporters

Contai, West Bengal, Jul 19 (UNI) West Bengal's Fisheries Minister Kiranmony Nanda was today hackled and gheraoed by Trinamool Congress supporters at his own constituency, Mukhberia, where he went to distribute relief materials, police said.

The Trinamool Congress supporters alleged that whatever relief materials from the Government sources were sent for the flood stricken people so far had been distributed mainly to the minister's sympathisers.

They said the relief materials were distributed on partisan basis. The needy people had not received the grains or other materials, they alleged.

Later the minister while talking to the press denied this and said that he had no knowledge about such partisan approach.

"I will definitely inquire about the possibility of partisan distribution if any " the minister said.
