Lindsay Lohan's father admits sending letters to Ashley Kaufmann

Washington, July 19 : Lindsay Lohan's father has confessed that he sent letters to the actress' alleged half sister Ashley Kaufmann signed 'Love Daddy' while in jail.

In an interview to U.S. news show The Insider former mistress Kristi Kaufmann had showed the paternal letters he sent to Ashley while he was serving time behind bars for DUI and other charges in 2005.

Michael Lohan revealed that he use to send her letters because her mother had him believing the girl was his lovechild.

"She actually had me believing I was her daddy and I actually put that in the letters. I said, 'Call me daddy'," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"But after what I've read and what I've heard and what I've found out, there's a chance I'm not," he added.

Meanwhile, Michael is waiting for the DNA test results, which will determine whether or not he really is the 13-year-old's father.
