Leela Hotels ties up with US-based Preferred Hotels
Mumbai, July 19 (UNI) The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts today signed a sales and marketing agreement with US-based Preferred Hotel Group, effective from June this year.
Preferred Hotel Group (PHG), a global leader in the hospitality industry, provides reservations, sales and marketing services to more than 600 independent hotels and resorts in over 65 countries.
It has its headquarters in Chicago.
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts President Onno Poortier told mediapersons here that ''USA is the largest source market for the Leela and this alliance will enhance our brand positioning, awareness and market penetration.'' The Leela Group is involved in an aggressive expansion drive to ensure its pan-India presence in key cities for last four years. This strategic alliance will provide the Leela an extensive access to the four big consortiums -- Ammex, CWT, BCD and Hogg Robinson, besides the 29 Global Sales Offices (GSOs) of Preferred Hotel Group, he added.
