Jusco signs concession agreement with HDA

Jamshedpur, Jul 18 (UNI) Haldia Development Authority today entered into a concession agreement with a consortium of Jamshedpur utilities and services company limited (JUSCO), Ranhill utilites of Malaysia and Infrastructure development finance company for development and operation of the Haldia water supply scheme Public-Private partnership model.

A Jusco communique released here this evening said, the agreement included setting up of a water treatment plant on build operate and transfer basis along with operation and maintenance of the water supply system for a total period of 25 years at an expected investement of Rs 100 crore. This project shall almost double the water availability at the port city.
