Human chain against nuke deal

Bhopal, July 19(UNI) Communist Party of India workers formed a human chain in Itwara area of the state capital today to protest against the Indo-US nuclear agreement.

The agitators, led by CPI leader Shailendra Kumar Shaili, also raised slogans against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and U S President George Bush.

The agreement was detrimental to the country's sovereignity and Manmohan Singh had succumbed to US pressure, Mr Shaili said.
