Four teenagers killed in mishap in Punjab

Fatehgarh Sahib, Jul 19 (UNI) Four teenagers were killed when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a tanker parked on the roadside near AS College in Khanna on Samrala road today, police here said.

The four teeenagers, were returning to Samrala from Khanna after meeting a friend when the mishap occured. While three of the teenagers died on the spot, the fourth scummbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

The deceased were identified as Sohit Kumar (19), Simranjit Singh (18), Devinder Singh (19) and Amanpreet Singh (18), all college going students and residents of Samrala.

The police registered a case against the tanker driver who absconded after the accident.
