Former TTD EO died at Hyderabad

Tirupati, Jul 19 (UNI) Former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive officer P S Rajagopal Raju died at Hyderabad today.

Raju, who introduced for the first time small kalyanotsavam (Rs 500) in Tirumala temple, served in TTD as an Executive officer from 1974 to 1978 and died while serving the visiting devotees as well as employees.

TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy and TTD executive officer K V Ramanachary expressed their deep condolences over the sudden demise of Raju at the condolence meeting held at TTD administrative building.

Thousands of employees observed two minutes silence as mark of respect to the departed soul. TTDs special officer Dharma Reddy, TTDs Finance advisor Anitha Shah Akella and employees were present at the meeting.
