DMK on fast in Pondy over fishermen issue

Puducherry, Jul 19: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) here observed a fast before the Nehru Statue on the Beach Road to condemn the killing of Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy and seek the intervention of the Centre to put an end to the incidents.

DMK State Convenr R V Janakiraman led the fast in which party Legislators, Former Legislators, Former MP, functionaries and cadre participated in huge numbers.
