Cyclone hits UP district, no casualty

Mainpuri, July 19 (UNI) Several trees were uprooted and thousands of hectares of fertile land destroyed after a cyclone hit Bhojpura village in Kotwali area here this evening.

There was, however, no casualty in the incident, reports said.

According to police, the cyclone, accompanied by minor seismic waves, was felt for about five minutes at 1500 hrs.
