Soren meets NDA MPs; seeks J'khand CMship

New Delhi, Jul 18: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren is holding meetings with several leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) camp here today.

Congress has been trying to seek Soren's support, ahead of July 22 trust vote to win the number game. JMM, which has five MPs in the Parliament, is an ally of the UPA Government. It is not clear whether it will support them or not. JMM has been unhappy with the Congress, as Soren was not included in the Union Cabinet.

Soren had demanded that JMM be given a Cabinet berth at the Centre and also revived an old wish to head the UPA regime in Ranchi.
