Sarda Energy commences sponge iron plant
New Delhi, Jul 18 (UNI) Sarda Energy and Minerals Ltd today its second sponge iron plant has commenced operations.
''The plant with a capacity of 500 tonnes per day has commenced operations yesterday,'' company said in a statement.
With this, the installed capacity of manufacturing sponge iron has increased to 3,60,000 metric tonnes (MT) annually from the present 2,10,000 MT annually, it added.
