Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.78 per Dollar

Mumbai, Jul 18 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.78 per unit, down 16 paise against its yesterday's rate of Rs 42.94 per dollar.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 11 paise down at Rs 67.90 per unit against yesterday's rate of Rs 68.01.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 85.5194 (85.7855) per Pound and Rs 40.33 (40.79) per 100 units respectively, a data received from RBI said.
