Cop commits suicide in police station

Patiala, Jul 18 (UNI) A constable today allegedly committed suicide inside the Dakala police station near hear.

Police sources claimed that the deceased, Avtar Singh (42) was depressed since yesterday and he shot himself with his service rifle. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

However a senior police officer when contacted denied the suicide version and instead claimed that the constable died while he was cleaning his rifle which accidentally went off.
