CLP takes exception to Chandrababu's remarks on Sonia
Hyderabad, July 18 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislature Party (CLP) today took strong exception to the remarks of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu on AICC President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi's participation in the government programmes in the state yesterday.
Addressing a press conference here, State Finance Minister K Rosaiah said Ms Gandhi had participated in various programmes in Nellore and Prakasam district in the capacity of the UPA Chairperson.
He said all the UPA partners had elected her as the chairperson and there was nothing wrong in her participating in the government programmes. He alleged that Mr Naidu was making allegations as he was frustrated with the huge attendance of people in all the functions.
