Cipla Q4 FY08 net up 5% at Rs 701.43 cr

New Delhi, Jul 18 (UNI) Cipla Ltd, the country's largest pharmaceutical firm, today its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2008 has increased five per cent to Rs 701.43 crore as compared to Rs 668.03 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income for Q4 FY08 grew 18.25 per cent to Rs 4,338.21 crore from Rs 3,668.790 crore during Q4 FY07, it said in a statement.

The Company's profit after tax, on conslidated basis, stood at Rs 701.04 crore for the year ended March 2008, with FY08 total income at Rs 4,349.66 crore.
