1514 pilgrims leave for Amarnath Yatra
Jammu, Jul 18 (UNI) A fresh batch of pilgrims escorted by the security personnel today left for holy cave shrine of Shri Amarnath situated in south Kashmir from Yatri Bhawan, official sources here said.
Official reports said 1514 pilgrims comprised of 1007 males, 271 females, 50 children and 186 sadhus left the Bhagwati Nagar base camp amid tight security in 46 vehicles including 37 buses and 09 Light Motor Vehicles.
However, nearly 5 lakh pilgrims from across the country had darshans of natural ice-lingam at Amarnath so far during the two-month long yatra that commenced on June 18.
