Wife kills drunkard husband
Ambala, Jul 17 (UNI) Troubled by frequent fights with her drunkard husband, a housewife allgedly battered him to death here last night, police said today.
Accused Rekha attacked her husband Bansi Lal, a class IV employee of Railways, when he reached home in an inebriated state last night at Shivala Mandi in Ambala Cantt, police said.
Rekha, mother of two sons and a daughter, continued beating her husband till he fell down and died, they added.
Police came to know of the incident this morning and recovered the dead body of Bansi Lal and sent it for postmortem.
Rekha was arrested and a case under section 302 IPC had been filed against her.
