VB's Rural Reconstruction dept head attacked
Santiniketan, Jul 17 (UNI) Vishal K Bhanvd, Head of Viswa-Bharati's Rural Reconstruction department was seriously injured when he was attacked by miscreants here last night.
He was admitted to Pearson Memorial Hospital, police said adding they had lodged a case of attempt to murder against unknown persons.
The attackers had also looted Rs 3000 from him.
Incidentally, Mr Bhanvd had recently protested against unlawful activities in the campus premises.
