Unemployed youth commits suicide in HP

Dharamshala, Jul 17 (UNI) A 27-year old unemployed youth and a father of two daughters allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Barota village in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh last evening, police sources said today.

The victim, Raj Kumar was in a depression for the last few days after failing to get a job, police said.

Last evening when his parents were not in the village and his wife was busy with household chores, Raj Kamal entered his room and hanged himself from the ceiling fan.

The sources said that no suicide note had been recovered and ruled out anf foul play in the incident.

His body has been handed over to his relatives after post mortem examination.

The sources said that a case has been registered under section 34 of the CrPC and investigations were on.
