Two youths drowned in Mathura
Mathura, Jul 17 (UNI) Two pilgrims drowned while bathing in a sacred pond at Govardhan Parikrama Marg here today.
The incident occurred when Karan Sahu (20), Shailendra Patailiya and Yogendra of Mahavir colony were bathing in the Kusum sarovar after taking 'parikrama' of Giri Govardhan, police said.
Sahu and Shailendra got trapped in deep waters. People reached the site for rescue after Yogendra shouted for help.
Divers fished out the body of Sahu, however, efforts were on to recover another, police added.
