Truck driver hangs himself from tree

Phagwara, Jul 17 (UNI) A truck driver allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near a 'dhaba' on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road today, police here stated, The deceased driver was identified as Ishwar Singh of Madhya Pardesh. After taking his meals at the 'dhaba' the driver hung himself by a rope from the tree.

The cause of the suicide was not known. The police has registered a case and are investigating the matter.
