Thangkabalu meets Ramadoss
Chennai, Jul 17 (UNI) Newly appointed TNCC President K V Thangkabalu today called on PMK founder leader Dr S Ramadoss in the city.
Later, talking to mediapersons, Mr Thangkabalu described it as a courtesy call.
''No politics was discussed during the meeting,'' he said and added that he came to thank Dr Ramadoss for his announcement that the PMK would vote in favour of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre during the July 22 Trust Vote in Parliament.
It may be recalled that the PMK was ousted from the DMK-led DPA in Tamil Nadu, of which Congress was also a constituent. But the PMK leadership maintained that it would continue to be a part of the Congress-led UPA at the Centre and would fight the next Lok Sabha Polls along with the Congress.
