Seven die in two road mishaps in Haryana
Hisar, Jul 17 (UNI) Seven persons including a husband and wife were killed in two seprate road accidents on NH-10 in Fatehabad and Sirsa districts today.
Police sources here stated that four persons, including a couple were killed following a head-on collision between a car and a canter between Dhangar and Bropal villages of Fatehabad district. The accident occured when the car while trying to avert hitting a bull collided with the canter coming from the opposite direction. The deceased were identified as Sandeep Sodhi and his wife Ritu Sodhi of Ganganagar in Rajasthan and their driver, Malkiat Singh, all of whom were in the car. The canter driver, Mohinder Kumar of Abohar also died in the collision.
In the second incident, three persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling dashed into a roadside tree near Panniwala village in Sirsa district. The deceased were identified as Prithvi and Ravinder, both residents of Dhangar village and Shankar, a resident of Nadauri village.
