Rupee gains at 42.90/91 per USD as oil prices eases

Mumbai, Jul 17 (UNI) Rupee today extended the gains to 42.90/91 per US Dollar, appreciated 17 paise from its previous close of 43.07/08 on sharp fall in crude oil prices and surge in stock market.

The Indian unit further strenthened as the oil pices softened at the level of USD 130 per barrel and a stock market rebounded in the early trade, dealers said.
