One killed, 40 injured as bus overturns

Kurnool, July 17 (UNI) One woman was killed and 40 others injured when a bus, in which they were travelling, overturned near Tangeda village in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said the bus was proceeding from Vijayawada to Dharmavaram when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve.

The injured were rushed to Kurnool government hospital. Police took the bus driver into custody. The driver was in an inebriated condition.
