GP Secretary and Jr Engineer arrested for accepting bribe
Davanagere, July 17 (UNI) Mallapura Grama Panchayat Secretary Kalappa and Junior Engineer Anil Kumar were arrested by Karnataka Lokayukata sleuths while accepting bribe for showing official favour.
Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police Basavarajappa said that the duo were caught redhand while accepting Rs 13,000 from a contractor to clear his pending bill.
The arrested were produced before the Magistrate.
