Customer care training for UHBVN staff

Chandigarh, Jul 17 (UNI) The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has decided to impart training to its officers and employees on customer care and energy audit under which a four day training camp has been organised at Rohtak.

A spokesman for the Nigam said here today that the training on the subjects would be given keeping in view the necessity of providing the best services to the consumers and also for the benefit of the organization. The main objective is to involve the line staff in making strenuous efforts to minimise the breakdown for reliable power supply and reduction in technical and commercial losses.

It has now been decided that the training camps would be arranged at each district headquarter. A special training team would visit different places in the Nigam's area to impart training to the employees, the spokesman added.

He said that the Nigam would ensure that the relevant training is given before promotion of the employees to the higher posts. It would boost their confidence level as well as provide adequate knowledge of the new work and it will help improve the consumer service so as to achieve the target of consumer satisfaction and proper accounting of the electricity supplied.
