CRISIL, ICICI Foundation, IFMR Trust ink MoU
Mumbai, Jul 17 (UNI) In an effort towards accelerating financial inclusion in the country, rating agency Crisil, ICICI Foundation and IFMR Trust today jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for developing commercial enterprises for low-income households.
Under this agreement, Crisil will develop evaluation framework for micro finance institutions, urban local bodies and vocational training institutes and will also publish and disseminate rating criteria for such entities. IFMR Trust will facilitate this process by providing access to enterprises working in these areas and ICICI foundation will play a role in ensuring wide dissemination of these products developed under this MoU, they said in a joint conference here.
