Cabinet reviews implementation of programme for minorities
New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) The Manmohan Singh government today reviewed the implementation of the Prime Minister's new 15-point programme for the welfare of the minorities.
Minority Affairs Minister A R Antulay explained the actions taken so far and the measures in the pipeline at the weekly meeting of the Cabinet, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters.
A five-page list of achievements that was considered and taken note of by the Cabinet was released after the meeting.
