5 schemes for backward class students

Bhopal, July 17 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has launched five schemes to benefit students belong to backward classes.

These schemes included primary education, literacy incentive for girls, construction of boys hostel at district level, loan and grants for self employment from Backward Classes and Minorities Finance Development Corporation.

A total of Rs 80 lakh has been allocated this year to provide incentives to the backward class students, who achieve success at various stages of competitive examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission and State Public Service Commission.

In order to provide higher education abroad Rs 75 lakh has been earmarked for five backward class students this year.

A provision of Rs two crore has been made to provide employment-oriented training to the unemployed educated girls and boys.
