Rahul all praise when UPA wants it most!

Amethi, Jul 16: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has praised the UPA Government for implementing its pro-poor policies.

"The UPA Government is a government of the common man. Very few governments have worked for the poor, as has this government. We have initiated the world's biggest loan waiver programme, and it is being implemented in Amethi and Rae Bareilly also," said Rahul at a public rally here on Tuesday, July 15. The Central coalition has lost the support of the Left over the controversial Indo-US civil nuclear deal. The government has to prove its majority on the floor of the house on July 22.

It needs 272 votes to stay in office for the remainder of its term, which concludes on May 2009.
