Nuke deal to benefit India greatly: IAEA expert
Hisar Jul 16: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) representative Gabrielle Voigt on Wednesday, July 16 said the Indo-US nuclear deal would benefit India in a big way.
''India will be greatly benefitted by it,'' IAEA expert and representative Gabrielle Voigt told UNI while commenting on the Indo-US nuclear pact on the sidelines of the 16th National Symposium on Environment organised in Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology here. ''The future belongs to atomic and solar energy. The increasing demand of power, concern for safety of environment and depletion of natural resources are pushing the nations round the globe to exploit nuclear power for power generation and other needs,''she added.
