MPSEB employees demand wage board

Jabalpur, July 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board employees would take out a rally under the banner of Madhya Pradesh Vidyut Karamchari Janata Union to press the state government about its 11-point demand in the state capital on September 8.

''An indefinite strike was proposed on May 5 in support of the constitution of wage board, interim relief of 20 per cent and 11 points demands but due to the state government's assurance the strike was called off,'' Union Spokesperson Mohan Agarwal said here today.

Assurances were not fulfilled hence we were bound to spark the agitation again, he added.
